Intro to Hand-Building: Slab Vases

📅 Saturdays, May – June 🕐 10 AM – 1 PM 👥 Max 8 students

Learn to build a decorative slab vase from start to finish. You'll roll, cut, shape, and join clay — then add surface decoration with stamps, carving, or decals. Your piece gets bisque-fired and glazed, ready to pick up two weeks later.

Rigid Heddle Weaving: Your First Scarf

📅 1st & 3rd Sundays 🕐 11 AM – 4 PM 👥 Max 6 students

Warp a rigid heddle loom, learn plain weave and pick-up patterns, and leave with a finished scarf. We provide the loom, the yarn (including alpaca blends from our herd), and the know-how. You bring curiosity and patience.

Fiber Arts

From Fleece to Yarn: Alpaca Fiber Processing

📅 2nd Saturdays 🕐 10 AM – 2 PM 👥 Max 6 students

Start with raw alpaca fleece from our herd and learn to skirt, wash, card, and spin it into usable yarn. This is the full farm-to-fiber experience — you'll meet the alpacas, then turn their fleece into something you can knit or weave with.

Braided Rug Workshop

Learn the art of rug braiding using upcycled fabric strips. You'll cut, fold, braid, and lace your strips into a beautiful oval rug. Take home your starter rug and the skills to keep going at home.
